April for random trips to The Closet, Derrick for his pre-drink accompaniment before staying out until 4 or 5 dancing at Berlin and Ramon who gave me the funniest drunken memories of the year.

2) LIFETIME SERVICE AWARD (longest friend):
Rebekah and Jacob.

3) NEWCOMER AWARD - COOLEST NEWEST FRIEND:
Britta and Mercedes

3) HIGH POINT OF THE YEAR:
toss up between The L Word season 4 premier last Jan, roaming around Andersonville with Britta, my birthday dinner, Renee and Noel's wedding or trip to Las Vegas with Teresa and Lyds!!

4) LOW POINT OF THE YEAR:
when Ramon explained why someone wasn't responding to my attempts at contact, my first day back in Fresno and the day I tried to talk to my sister.

5) BEST HOLIDAY:
Summer Solstice, spent it celebrating my chamo, Teresa's B-day.

saying goodnight on the corner of Belmont and Halsted after our 3rd night hanging out together at Berlin. the night I realized how much I like her.

15) BEST DECISION MADE THIS YEAR:
I don't think I made very good decisions this year.

I guess everytime I decided to go to a show: Girlesque Burlesque, VAST, Rusted Root, Bjork, Morrissey, Ani Difranco, Ozomatli and Juliette and the Licks. those were good decisions.

16) WHAT ARE YOUR PLANS FOR NEXT YEAR:
online classes, pay off debts, trips to Chicago and Providence, save up money to get an apartment in Arcata and go to school

17) MOST STUPID IDEA WHEN DRUNK:
to not go to the bathroom before trying to walk home from The Closet

18) TV SHOW OF THE YEAR:
The Office, Heroes

19) MOST LOYAL FRIEND:
all of my friends are loyal, especially considering how often I take them for granted

20) BIGGEST CHANGE OF THE YEAR:
not being able to support myself

21) BIGGEST douchbag AWARD:
myself? I don't like that word though. what is it with all of the feminine names used with negative conotations: cunt, pussy, douchebag, etc? why do we use these words to put people down?

22) NEW YEAR RESOLUTION:
follow through with my scholastic intentions, treat my sister as though she is the nicest person that I've ever met, tell people how I feel even when it's scary (the year of No Fear, right Christine?)
